Job Description: What You Will Do
As a Global Forensic Analyst Apprentice, you will be immersed in the world of digital forensics. This is an intensive, hands-on program where you will:
- Master the Fundamentals:Â Learn the core principles of digital forensics, evidence handling, and the chain of custody in a state-of-the-art forensics lab.
- Train on Elite Tools:Â Gain expert-level proficiency with industry-leading forensic software like Magnet AXIOM, Relativity, and other proprietary Greyhawk tools.
- Participate in Mock Investigations:Â Apply your skills in realistic, simulated investigations, from data acquisition and analysis to forensic report writing.
- Learn from the Experts:Â Be mentored by seasoned forensic investigators with years of experience in law enforcement and corporate investigations.
- Prepare for Global Casework:Â Understand the technical and legal challenges of international casework, including data privacy regulations like GDPR.
- Earn Your Certification: Work towards achieving the Greyhawk Certified Forensic Analyst credential, a mark of excellence recognized by our global partners.
Upon successful completion of the program, you will be offered a full-time position as a Forensic Analyst, responsible for working on active cases for our international clients.
Requirements: Who We Are Looking For
This is a highly selective program. We are looking for the future leaders of our industry. You do not need prior forensics experience, but you must have the raw talent, the drive, and the unwavering integrity to succeed.
Must-Haves:
- A recent graduate (or graduating soon) with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Law, Criminology, or a related field.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. You are a natural-born “digital detective” who loves to solve complex puzzles.
- A strong passion for technology and cybersecurity. You are curious, a fast learner, and eager to master new and complex software.
- Impeccable integrity and a strong ethical compass. This is non-negotiable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. You will be writing detailed reports and communicating with a global team.
- The ambition and commitment to complete a demanding 6-month, full-time program and build a long-term career with Greyhawk.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Basic knowledge of computer networks, operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS), and file systems.
- Familiarity with any programming or scripting language (e.g., Python).
- Experience with debating, technical writing, or other activities that demonstrate strong logical reasoning and communication skills.
